Senior Follies to start Friday


Carson City Senior Citizen's Center presents Senior Follies 2008, 7 p.m., Friday, Saturday and 2 p.m., Sunday at the Carson City Community Center, Bob Boldrick Theater, 851 E. Sheriff's Open House is Saturday

Comma Coffee to host car wash


Comma Coffee will hold a car wash and rummage sale from 10 a.m.- 3 p.m., Sunday. Funds to be used to replace and repair several appliances that have broken down. Comma Coffee is located at 312 S. Carson St. For information, call 883-2662.




Nevada Day Committee seeks volunteers

New hours for Carson City Library


New hours for the Carson City Library beginning the week of June 9 are as follows: Monday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 10 a.m.-8 p.m.; Friday noon-6 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Closed Sundays. For information, call 887-2244.

Father's Day stories at Tahoe Library


The Douglas County Public Library Lake Tahoe branch presents Saturday Stories and Crafts 1 p.m. on June 7. Miss Carol will read Father's Day stories. Children will make a craft for Dad.
