Senior Follies to start Friday

Carson City Senior Citizen's Center presents Senior Follies 2008, 7 p.m., Friday, Saturday and 2 p.m., Sunday at the Carson City Community Center, Bob Boldrick Theater, 851 E. William St. Tickets are $20 for general admission, $10 for seniors/children. For tickets and information, call 883-0703.

Comma Coffee to host car wash

Nevada Day Committee seeks volunteers

New hours for the Carson City Library beginning the week of June 9 are as follows: Monday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 10 a.m.-8 p.m.; Friday noon-6 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Closed Sundays. For information, call 887-2244.

Father's Day stories at Tahoe Library

The Douglas County Public Library Lake Tahoe branch presents Saturday Stories and Crafts 1 p.m. on June 7. Miss Carol will read Father's Day stories. Children will make a craft for Dad.
