Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in court:

• A 43-year-old painter from Carson City was arrested at 9:04 p.m. Wednesday in the 3200 block of Kitchen Drive on two warrants for suspicion of misdemeanor contempt of court. Bail was set at $474.

• A 59-year-old unemployed transient was arrested at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the 2100 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor violation of a bail condition. Bail was set at $1,000.

• A 36-year-old Carson City man who listed his occupation as a music teacher, but who does not work for the school district, was arrested at 8 p.m. Wednesday in the 300 block of South Roop Street on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to appear on a traffic violation and driving on a suspended license out of Oklahoma. Bail was set at $1,364.

• Kelly Ryan, 41, unemployed from Carson City, was arrested at 7:42 p.m. Wednesday in the 700 block of Silver Oak Drive on suspicion of misdemeanor contempt of court. Bail was set at $167.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• Accident at West William and North Nevada streets at 9:14 a.m.

• A man surrendered two guns and some ammunition he found in his deceased in-laws' home at 10:37 a.m.

• Burglary report in the 1300 block of Como Street at 10:45 a.m.

• Harassment report on Meadowbrook Lane at 3:46 p.m.

• Graffiti report on fence at Mills Park at 3:55 p.m.

• Vehicle burglary report in the 900 block of Armory Lane at 4:28 p.m.

• Man reported at 8:16 p.m. that his wife just hit him in the head with a slipper.

Lyon County

• Fight report at Fernley High School at 8:23 a.m.

• Stolen vehicle recovery report on Speedway Road in Fernley at 3:06 p.m.

• Shoplifting report at Village Market in Silver Springs at 3:12 p.m.

• Larceny report on Pine Cone Road in Dayton at 8:55 p.m.

• Misdemeanor arrest on Fifth Street in Silver Springs at 9:35 p.m.

• Misdemeanor arrest on Highway 95 Alternate in Mason Valley at 8:11 p.m.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• Traffic citation issued on Waltham Way at 8:57 a.m.

• Report of a vehicle in a ditch on Six Mile Canyon Road at 9:04 a.m.

• Report of a backpack disappearing after a patron put it down inside a business on South C Street at 12:50 p.m.

• Report of a business on North D Street being broken into sometime before 1:31 p.m.

• Report of an accident involving two tractor trailers on USA Parkway at 1:41 p.m.

• Arrest on State Route 341 in the Virginia City Highlands at 4:37 p.m.

• Traffic citation issued on State Route 341 at 7:44 p.m.

• Arrest on North C Street at 9:44 p.m.
