Ken Shamrock will come help celebrate the grand opening of Powerhouse Gym, located at 1945 Idaho Street off of Fairview Drive across from Lowe's. The grand opening will be held from noon to 6 p.m. and Shamrock is scheduled to attend the event at 3 p.m.

Shamrock is preparing for the biggest network MMA fight ever when he'll take on Kimbo Slice in a bout that will be televised by CBS on October 4.

In addition there will be free food and prizes given away, including a giant screen television, DVDs and a cruise. For the grand opening only, a membership signup fee of $10 will also be offered.
