Deadline for Nevada Day parade entries near

Nevada Day, Inc. would like to announce the deadline for parade entries this year is fast approaching. Republican Committee hosts info desk at Salsa y Salsa

"Faces, Voices, and Stories" presented at WNC

Western Nevada College presents "Faces, Voices and Stories", an annual series of free lectures, films and events bringing the world and issues into focus. Flu Vaccination Clinic at Carson Plaza Retirement Community

Carson Plaza Retirement Community, in conjunction with Maxim Health Systems, will conduct a Flu Vaccination Clinic 2-4 p.m., Friday, Oct. 3, 2120 E. Long Street. Cost per flu shot is $30; cost per pneumonia shot is $45. The clinic is open to any legally consenting adult. Medicare Part B and some insurance policies may cover part of these costs; those intending to attend the clinic are encouraged to contact their insurance carriers for details.
