Bobby E. Russell, a 17-year Stagecoach resident, died March 30, 2009, at Renown Regional Medical Center, Reno. He was born June 3, 1943 in Fresno, Calif. to Harold W. Russell and Martha E. Ballard.
Before moving to Stagecoach, he lived at West Point, Calif. and Calaveras County, Calif. He was in the U.S. Navy and served in the Vietnam War. He enjoyed metal detecting and ham radio. He was a fireman for over 20 years.
His mother, three brothers, two daughters, and three grandchildren survive him.
A graveside service will be 11 a.m., Tuesday with military honors at the Silver Springs Cemetery, Silver Springs, Nev.
