A brothel worker from Lyon County was jailed Wednesday night on a California warrant charging her with molesting a girl there.

Chantal Rose Eriksen, 23, was booked into the Carson City Jail on suspicion of felony lewd and lascivious acts with a child under 14.

According to Redwood City Police Detective Greg Farley, Eriksen is accused of molesting a 12-year-old girl at the child's house in September.

Farley said the girl told her family after a television show reminded her of the incident.

Eriksen was picked up by Carson City deputies at her home on Mountain Park at 11:46 p.m.

The San Mateo Superior Court warrant lists her address as The Love Ranch, formerly known as BunnyRanch II, at 95 Kit Kat Road in Mound House.

The arrest report indicates Eriksen described her employment as "exotic entertainment."

A clerk at San Mateo Superior Court confirmed a criminal complaint has been filed against Eriksen charging her with three counts of felony lewd and lascivious acts with a child under 14.

Carson City Sheriff's Sgt. Ken Steele said that Eriksen waived extradition in court on Thursday morning and arrangements are being made in Redwood City for her return there.
