LAS VEGAS (AP) " The M Resort blimp is no longer in the Las Vegas sky after the casino decided not to renew its contract for the airship.

Officials say the blimp went back to Orlando, Fla. after its last flight at the end of March, to the headquarters of The Lightship Group.

Mikey Wittman, director of client services for The Lightship Group, says the blimp cost $3,000 per day to fly, including labor, helium and fuel.

The costs were supported in part with advertisements on the blimp's 70-foot by 30-foot screen.

The airship is one of just three in the world with a light-emitting diode screen.
