Fifth Street (State Route 513) between South Saliman Road and Butti Way in Carson City will be reduced to a single lane of traffic from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, April 17.
Flaggers will temporarily hold traffic during the construction-related lane closure. Delays of 15 minutes can be expected.
Traffic traveling Fifth Street between Saliman Road and Fairview Drive can choose to detour to U.S. 50 or the southern intersection of Saliman Road and Fairview Drive.
The lane closure is part of construction of the Carson City Freeway's Fifth Street overpass.
