Carson Valley Sertoma chili cookoff

The Carson Valley Sertoma hosts their 17th chili cookoff and craft fair fundraiser, 10 a.m.-5 p.,m., Saturday, April 25 and Sunday, April 26, Carson Valley Inn, between the store and casino, 1627 Highway 395 N, Minden. Enjoy food and chili; beer and wine; and chili tasting. Five valuable raffle prizes will be awarded each day. Live music by The Carl and The Classics. Awards for Green Chili, Salsa and Red Chili. Dangberg Home Ranch tours

Nevada State Parks invites the public to tour the Dangberg Home Ranch Historic Park, west of Minden on Highway 88. Tours are 10 a.m. and
