Alan R. Chinn of Silver Springs died July 31, 2009, in Carson City. He was 84. Mr. Chinn was born Feb. 13, 1925, in Hollister, Calif., to Phillip and Stephanie (Brand) Chinn. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Autumn Funerals & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.
