Since Maizie had the nerve to cruise the inland passage off Alaska last week, we decided to write about the places we like to eat (and there are many) and the food we like the most. Be aware that there are MANY places we haven't gotten to yet, so these are only a sample. But, before we start, a happy birthday to Claire Clift ... you'll get your present when M gets home (grin).

There are so many good Chinese restaurants, the Bamboo Garden, Bejing Palace, Golden Dragon, Panda Kitchen ... just to name a few; then there are many great Mexican Restaurants all over town, Juan's, El Mariachi Loco ... so many, so little time. We haven't even begun to take in all the "chains," i.e. McDonald's, Subway, Burger King, Jack in the Box, Applebee's, Taco Bell, KFC, Denny's, etc. They are all great for a quick snack or sit-down almost anytime. The local casinos all have many good restaurants. There's also the Deli Francesco and we know you have your own faves, with some places we haven't even thought about.

We are so lucky to live in an area with so many fine places to eat. And most of them have great people serving you. Prices range from low to high, but you just have to call to see if it fits your pocketbook. They all appreciate your business. Bon Appetite!
