Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 24-year-old laborer from Carson City was arrested at 11:24 p.m. Friday at Carson and Musser streets on suspicion of misdemeanor disorderly conduct. Bail was set at $217.

• A 29-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 9:20 p.m. Friday at Roop and Dan streets on suspicion of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and obstructing a peace officer. Bail was set at $1,539. Also arrested was a 20-year-old Carson City woman on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. Bail was set at $1,871.

• A 75-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 5:28 p.m. in the 500 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,132.

• A 21-year-old construction worker from Minden was arrested at 1:50 p.m. Saturday at Carson Street and Fairview Drive on suspicion of misdemeanor second-offense drunken driving, driving without a valid license and failure to maintain a single lane. Bail was set at $2,319.

• Justin Cox, 36, unemployed from Fallon, was arrested at 8 p.m. at the Washoe County Jail on Carson City warrants for suspicion of felony uttering a forged instrument and misdemeanor failure to appear. Bail was set at $6,000.

• A 29-year-old nurse from Reno was arrested at 8:11 a.m. Sunday in the 2800 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor speeding, driving with expired registration, no insurance, driving on a suspended license and failure to appear on traffic citations. Bail was set at $3,049.

• Gregory Shoemaker, 43, unemployed from Carson City, was arrested at 10:30 p.m. Sunday in the 2800 b lock of Bel Aire Drive on suspicion of gross misdemeanor unlawful taking a motor vehicle, and violation of a suspended sentence. Bail was set at $3,500.

• A 30-year-old Carson City woman was arrested at 9:25 p.m. Monday at Teague and Fifth streets on suspicion of misdemeanor speeding, driving on a suspended license and failure to appear. Bail was set at $467.

• A 28-year-old preschool teacher from Carson City was arrested at 3:10 a.m. Sunday at Washington and Carson streets on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving, driving without insurance and driving the wrong direction on a one-way street. Bail was set at $1,971.

• Ramiro Soto Jr., 40, a handyman from Carson City, and Mario Alberto Aguirre-Cairo, 20,a laborer from Carson City, were each arrested at 5:49 p.m. Friday in the 1200 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of felony strong armed robbery. Also arrested was Kristopher Aragon, 22, of Carson City on suspicion of felony conspiracy to commit strong-armed robbery. Allegedly at the behest of Aragon, Soto is accused of punching a man in the face while Aguirre-Cairo took items from the man's pockets. Aguirre Cairo was also booked on a charge of probation violation.

• Jason Williams, 21, of Dayton, was arrested at 9:40 a.m. Saturday in the 4000 block of Flint Drive on suspicion of felony possession of a short-barrel shotgun, misdemeanor contributing to the delinquency of a minor, violation of a suspended sentence, contempt of court and possession of a firearm while intoxicated. Bail was set at $13,279.

• Susan Elaine Baker, 44, unemployed of Carson City, was arrested at 5:12 p.m. Friday in the 2000 block of Highway 50 East on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance and possession of prescription drugs without a prescription. Bail was set at $2,500.

Monday

• A man reported at 8:58 a.m. he may have fallen victim to an Internet scam.

• Report of someone illegally dumping trash into a receptacle on Beverly Drive.

• Report of a Nigerian con man using Cubix Corp information to purchase items.

• A woman reported at 2:48 p.m. that someone stole her phone Thursday as she was eating in Taco Bell on Highway 50 East.

• Report of a pickup truck hitting a tree on West Winnie Lane at 4:18 p.m.

• A woman reported a man exposed his genitals to girls on North Carson Street at 9:42 p.m.

Sunday

• Coroner call in the 1700 block of Snyder Avenue at 5:15 a.m.

• Report at 7:14 a.m. on Highland Street of an attempted break-in. "Subjects have tried to break in every night for three nights," the caller stated.

• A black 2003 Chevy Silverado with Nevada license plate 260WBX reported stolen from the 700 block of Stafford Way at 8:06 a.m.

• Six misdemeanor citations were issued to people with glass drink containers on Chimney Beach at 11:45 a.m.

• A shoplifter was nabbed at Save-Mart on Highway 50 East at 11:50 a.m.

• Report of a vehicle stolen from Palo Verde Drive then left burning in the middle of Muldoon Street at 4:59 p.m.

• Man reported at 5:43 p.m. he was threatened at gunpoint by two men on Friday.

• A kitchen fire was contained to the stove at a Rand Avenue apartment at 5:52 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:

Monday

• An intoxicated Fernley woman called at 2:15 a.m. to say she wanted to kill her husband.

• Report of a protection order violation on Miriam Way in Mound House at 3:39 a.m.

• A man reported at 4:52 a.m. that the people in the building behind his on Newlands Drive had been arguing for hours.

• Someone broke into a building at Fernley's Out of Town Park sometime before 9:03 a.m.

• Report of a battery on South End Drive in Dayton at 10:25 a.m.

• A Fernley woman reported at 11:35 a.m. that two aggressive dogs were chasing children on Warren Way.

• Single-vehicle rollover accident on Sutro Springs Road in Mark Twain. One person was injured.

• A Dayton woman reported at 5:02 p.m. finding two 18-year-old teens who stole items from her Dayton Valley Road home.

Sunday

• A Mason Valley homeowner returning from vacation reported at 10:27 a.m. that a motorcycle and tools were stolen from his Green Acres Lane garage.

• A Tamsen Road garage in Fernley at burglarized sometime before 12:33 p.m.

• A caller reported a Jeep hit a power pole on Grosh Avenue then fled the area at 7:03 p.m.

• Misdemeanor arrest on Garden Lane in Fernley at 3:52 p.m.

• A man in Silver Springs reported he accidentally fired off his gun in his Cherry Street home at 9:46 p.m.

• Misdemeanor arrest on West Newlands Drive in Fernley at 11:59 p.m.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

• Report of a brown wallet found on South C Street at 1:53 p.m.

• Report of two tires slashed on truck on Rue De La Orange sometime before 5:02 p.m.

• Report of a pet bird found on Empire Road at 5:25 p.m.
