Tired of cold weather and gloom? Come and join the Carson Tahoe Regional Healthcare Auxiliary for its holiday luncheon at 11 a.m. Dec. 12. The theme of the luncheon will be "South of the Border; Christmas in Latin America" and will take place at the Gold Dust West Hotel and Casino, 2171 Highway 50 East.
In addition to a Mexican-themed lunch, there will be a wide variety of entertainment to help celebrate and enjoy a different interpretation of the holiday season. A bake sale and a raffle will be part of the festivities.
Tickets are $25 and are available for sale at the Auxiliary Gift Shop located at the Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center. Last day to make a reservation and purchase tickets is Monday.
