Penelope Marie Silver, 55, of Carson City, died Dec. 1, 2009. She was born Jan. 23, 1954, in Hollywood, Calif. She is survived by her children, Christina Silver of Washington, Rachel Silver of Reno, and Scott Silver of Rhode Island; and sisters, Loia Campbell of Tennessee and Sharon McKinney of Kansas. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5 at the First Presbyterian Church in Carson City. Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Carson City, is in charge of arrangements.
