Carson City bus system, Jump Around Carson (JAC) will end operations today at 3:30 p.m. due to the snow storm, said Patrick Pittenger, city transportation manager.
JAC Assist, the bus system for disabled people, however, will continue its regular hours today. For more information call 775-841-RIDE (7433).
Pittenger said the buses have been stuck in snow or struck by cars in today's slick road conditions. He added it's the first time JAC has suspended service because of weather in its four-year history.
