David John and the Comstock Cowboys won't let the snow stop them from singing Western-style Christmas classics and new songs in their annual "Christmas in the Sierra" show at Piper's Opera House in Virginia City and Raycraft Dance Hall in Genoa.

The band was to perform two Virginia City shows on Saturday but plans changed after Mother Nature dumped a little too much snow.

Now, with a favorable weather forecast, the Comstock Cowboys will perform a makeup performance at 4 p.m. Sunday at Piper's Opera House, 12 North B Street, Virginia City.

All tickets sold for the Dec. 12 shows will be honored, and additional tickets are still available.

Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for seniors and veterans, and $12 for children younger than 12.
