Medical staff made hospital stay special

I wish to thank my doctors C. Forman, G. Foster, the C.N.A's and all the nurses that made my stay special.

Not a moment went by that some caring person wasn't there to offer me help.

It is a wonderful feeling to know that the good people at the hospital have deep down compassion for their patients.

Bank's donation helped school library

The Dayton Elementary School Library would like to thank Nevada State Bank for their generous donation. The DES Library was able to purchase a new set of encyclopedias with the money from the donation.

The encyclopedias will be available for students to use for years to come. Thank you Nevada State Bank!

Congratulations to parents who learned about Internet safety

Partnership Carson City would like to thank the parents who attended the "Keeping Our Kids Safe on the Internet" session of The Kids' Talking Wall Program, on Saturday, Dec. 5. You have taken an important step closer to helping maximize Internet safety awareness for your children, and in your community. The Kids' Talking Wall will continue to offer insightful information and reference tools to encourage, families to learn together about Internet safety, and to help inform and empower them to take control of their online experiences.

We also want to acknowledge and express our appreciation to DeBug Computer Inc. and OPV 1st. Page, for their professional collaboration, contribution, and commitment to the Kids' Talking Wall's Internet safety awareness programming that helps make our community safer.
