New Year's Eve party at Carson library
The Carson City Library Foundation will host its New Year's Eve party on Dec. 31 at 6 p.m. at the State Library and Archives, 100 N. Stewart St.
Food closet receives $1,000 donation
The Carson Valley Community Food Closet received a $1,000 donation from City National Bank this month.
City National's Minden branch presented Eileen Boettiger, director of the Carson Valley Community Food Closet, with an oversized check as part of the donation.
