The Nevada Department of Transportation reports at 5:43 a.m. all roads open with no controls.
Utility work is being done on Little Lane between Saliman Road and Roop Street, mainly between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m., with lane restrictions on Little Lane east and west of South Roop Street. Alternate routes of travel are Fairview Drive to the south and East Fifth Street to the north.
Utility work is also being done on North Roop Street from East William to Long streets, and on East John and Corbett streets.
Road work continues in Carson City with areas of delays. There is continued work on Fairview Drive from South Edmonds to South Carson Street with lane closures and possible delays, as with East Fifth Street from Saliman Road to Fairview Drive.
Work on Highway 50 in east Carson City and Mound House has posted lower speed limits with narrow lanes just east of Flint Drive.
Today's weather for the Carson City area will be sunny with highs of 46-56 with east winds up to 10 mph. Tonight, clear with lows 21-31 with light winds.
Saturday and Sunday, sunny with highs 46-56 with light winds on Saturday and southeast winds up to 10 mph Sunday night.
