Harriet Dodgion Dick died July 9, 2009.

She was born Dec. 24,1918 in Rifle, Colo., to Harry and Ida George. She moved to Gabbs in 1942 with her husband and children. Living in Tent City with three small children was a true pioneering experience never to be forgotten. In the early 1960s she moved to Fallon and in 2007 moved to Carson City to be closer to her son Lewis and his family.

She is survived by three children and their spouses: Lee and Marie Dodgion, Lewis and Barbara Dodgion and Laura and Roy Patterson; grandchildren and their spouses: Deborah and Terry Mitchell, Laura and Tom Srsich, Susan and Alex Jordan, Katherine and Jeff Rohrer, Lisa and Larry Ligas, Huw and Jinenne Sutherland; great grandchildren: Todd and Roxanne Mitchell, Tim and Kirstin Mitchell, Peter Srsich, John Srsich, Eric Ligas, Brendan Jordan and Victoria Jordan; and great-great grandchildren: Caden Mitchell, Mackenna Mitchell, Cody Mitchell, Brenna Mitchell, Megan Mitchell and Sara Mitchell; stepdaughter, Rosemary Wingert and her Joe and sons Brian and Alex. She is also survived by four siblings, David George, Clair Barlow, Otis George and Hazel Place.

She is preceded in death by two husbands, Arthur Dodgion and Clark Dick.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 18 at St. John's Lutheran Church, 1170 S. Taylor St., Fallon with graveside services to follow at Churchill County Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to luncheon at St. John's following the graveside service.
