South Edmonds Drive will be closed for road construction between Koontz Lane and Damon Road. Local access will be maintained for residences within the construction zone.

Crack filling will continue in the Lakeview area with traffic allowed. There will be lane closures on the following:

• Ormsby Boulevard between Combs Canyon Road and College Parkway

• College Parkway between Garth Richards Boulevard and Ormsby Boulevard

• College Parkway between Ormsby Boulevard and the Western Nevada College Campus.

Short delays are expected.

The reconstruction of Curry Street from Koontz Lane to Rhodes Street is under way. As a result, there will be daytime lane closures and delays on Curry Street and Rhodes Street all week and nighttime lane closures on South Carson Street (U.S. 395) on Monday and Tuesday.

Construction of the North Stewart Street extension from East John Street to North Roop Street is continuing. Numerous restrictions, closures, and detours are expected in the project area, including the following:

• Long Street will be closed all week between Peters Street and Roop Street. A detour will be established to route traffic around the construction work. Only local traffic will be allowed.

• East Park Street, East Adams Street, East Lee Street and Burton Street will have intermittent closures from Roop Street to Peters Street.

There will be construction related to sidewalk improvements on Stanton, Siskiyou, and Douglas drives. Through traffic will be allowed.

Landscaping is taking place on Fairview Drive. Sidewalk and lane closures will take place between Roop Street and Saliman Road. Please use caution.

Roof replacement for City Hall is in progress. While City Hall will remain open throughout the project, visitors are advised to use caution.

Proctor Street will be closed between Curry Street and Carson Street from 9 to 11:30 p.m. and Curry Street will be closed between Telegraph Street and Spear Street from 3 to 11 p.m., both on Friday, July 31, for a special events.
