Note: Menus are for the week of June 8 and are subject to change without notice. Choice of beverage is included with meals.

CARSON CITY

The lunch menu for the Carson City Senior Citizens Center, 911 Beverly Dr.:

Monday: Meatloaf, mashed potatoes with gravy, spinach, tomato salad, Chantilly cup, whole wheat bread with margarine.

Tuesday: Roast turkey with gravy, rice pilaf, broccoli, pears.

Wednesday: Country fried steak with gravy, corn, apricots, biscuit with margarine.

Thursday: Fish sandwich, pasta salad, red cabbage, marinated salad, mandarin oranges.

Friday: Parmesan chicken, fettuccini, veggie medley, raspberry Jell-O with peaches and chocochip cookie.

DAYTON

The lunch menu for the Dayton Senior Center, 320 Old Dayton Valley Road:

Monday: Veal cutlet, mashed potato, gravy, stir fry veggies, cantaloupe and cookie.

Tuesday: Meatloaf, mashed potato, steamed spinach, lettuce and tomato salad, whole wheat roll, margarine, Chantilly fruit cup.

Wednesday: Roast turkey, stuffing and gravy, brussel sprouts, cranberry sauce, pumpkin something.

Thursday: Pork strips, spinach, potato wedges, roll with margarine, applesauce, cake.

Friday: Breakfast, 9-10 a.m. baked omelet, ham, peaches, blueberry muffin, V8 and orange juice.

DOUGLAS COUNTY

The lunch menu for the Douglas County Senior Center, 2300 Meadow Lane:

Monday: Split pea soup, meatball sub, cucumbers in sour cream, fresh oranges.

Tuesday: Barbecue pork riblet, 8-veggie marinade, scalloped potatoes, juice, applesauce, cookies.

Wednesday: Turkey, fruit salad, mashed potatoes and gravy, peas and pearl onions, dinner roll with cranberries, cake and ice cream.

Thursday: Two beef tacos, ranch beans mexicorn, orange rice pudding.

Friday: Turkey bean soup, BLT sandwich, orange spinach salad, canned pear halves.

STOREY COUNTY

The Storey County Senior Citizens Center is located on the corner of E and Mill streets in Virginia City:

Monday: Lemon chicken, rice pilaf, green beans, fruit salad.

Tuesday: Tacos, refried beans, rice, melon salad.

Wednesday: Lasagna, garlic bread, green salad.

Thursday: Barbecue spare ribs, ranch beans, potato salad.

Friday: Swedish meatballs on noodles, red cabbage, apple sauce.

YERINGTON

The Yerington Senior Center is at 117 Tilson Way:

Monday: Taco salad, ice cream.

Tuesday: Chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, broccoli salad, corn, bread, Jell-O with fruit.

Wednesday: Lemon pepper chicken surprise, garlic bread, bread pudding.

Thursday: Spaghetti, garden salad, vegetable, garlic bread, pie.

Friday: Meatloaf, baked potato half, beet salad, corn, bread, cook's choice.

SILVER SPRINGS

The dinner menu for the Silver Springs Senior Center, 1050 Pyramid Ave.:

Monday: Chef salad, beets 3-bean salad, crackers, oranges.

Tuesday: Meat loaf, mashed potatoes, gravy, glazed carrots, honeydew melon, Jell-O fruit parfait.

Wednesday: Shepherds pie, broccoli au gratin, green salad, biscuit, watermelon.

Thursday: Barbecue ribs and chicken, potato salad, green beans, rolls, corn on the cob, apple pie ala mode.

Friday: Breakfast. 9:30 a.m. Ham skillet, potatoes, eggs, cheese, biscuit, V-8, fresh fruit.
