Local photos sought for historical book

Local residents Sue Ballew and Trent Dolan are looking for old photographs that might be used in the book, "Early Carson City," (1850-1930) a pictorial history to be published by Arcadia Publishing in its "Images of America" series. The importance of family collections cannot be emphasized. Vintage photographs become increasingly fragile and by scanning and reproducing them in a book, they become available for all to see. Anyone having photographs to be considered for "Early Carson City" e-mail giballew@aol.com or trentd@sbcglobal.net or call 220-6278 or 560-0505.
