Adela Clary-Cronk, 65, passed awayMarch 22, 2009 at Carson Tahoe Regional Healthcare Center.

Adela was born June 30, 1943 to Pedro and Gortia Melgarejo in the Philippines. She came to Carson City from Kalibo, Aklan in 1967 to wed her first husband Charles Clary. Adela worked as a keno runner for 37 years at the Ormsby House and Carson Nugget casinos. She proudly earned her United States Citizenship in 1995 and married her second husband William 'Bill' Cronk in 1998. She was a loving mother who enjoyed caring for her family, camping, fishing and gardening.

She is preceded in death by daughter, Terrasita Sanfilippo, husband, Bill Cronk, and stepdaughter, Rachelle Krietz.

Among her survivors are parents-in-law, Vincent and Bernice Cronk; brother-in-law Dennis Cronk; ex-husband Charles Clary; daughter and son-in-law, Sonya and Jim Vasquez; son-in-law Frank Sanfilippo; stepson Bill and Scott and grandchildren Tony, Shana, Kyle, Maya and Chloe.

Memorial services will be noon, Friday at Fitzhenry's Funeral Home, 3945 Fairview Drive, Carson City with a private burial following.

Memorial donations can be made in her honor to the Veterans of Foreign Wars or the National Diabetes Foundation.
