Charles Thomas "Tom" Ashley, 59, a resident of Carson City, died May 19, 2009, at home. He was born May 8, 1950, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Vernal and Lorraine Ashley. He was preceded in death by parents and brother Danny. Among his survivors are wife Frances; stepson Shane Johnston; daughters Cindy and Wendy Ashley; brothers Butch and Richard Ashley; sisters Margo Hoagland and Arlene Green; four grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be 11 a.m., Monday, June 1 at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church-small chapel. Capitol City Cremation & Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
