Dorothy A. Phillips, a Carson City resident since 1980, passed away Tuesday, Nov.17, 2009, in Carson City. She was born April 10, 1914, in Denver, Colo. Her husband, James J. Phillips preceded her in death in 1983.
She is survived by her brother James Freda of Washington and her godson, Michael Mercado of California. Dorothy was a long-term resident of Comstock Mobile Home Park at the time of her death.
At her request, there will be no service. Donations in her memory may be made to St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church in Carson City. FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Crematory is caring for arrangements.
