Go green, don't toss your tree.
The 2nd annual Seeliger Elementary School Christmas Tree Pickup Fundraiser is back by popular demand and will begin Dec. 27 continuing through Jan. 3.
Volunteers will pick Christmas trees up from your home (Carson City area only) and deliver it to a recycling facility where it will then be processed into mulch for ground cover. The mulch generated from the trees will be available to Carson City residents at no charge.
Donations will help support the Seeliger Elementary School's Parent-Teacher Organization and the many events and services it supports throughout the year.
