Army PFC Tyler A. Roll graduated from basic military training at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo on August 20, 2009.

The Private completed an intensive 10 week program that included training in military discipline and studies,

Army values, physical fitness and basic warfare principles and skills. He received the award for the highest Physical Training score, a 340 of a possible 300.

He has now returned home to complete his senior year at Carson High School and will return to military training after graduation.

PFC Roll is the son of SFC Amy M. Roll, and the Grandson of retired CMSG Gordon, and Betty Jungwirth, all of Carson City.
