RENO, Nev. (AP) - Authorities say a Washoe County Search and Rescue team member was hospitalized with a head injury after a fall during a search for a missing hiker.
Searchers were looking for a hiker on Monday near the Mt. Rose Summit. The hiker was found that evening.
It's unclear exactly when the searcher fell.
A helicopter from Fallon Naval Air Station was called in to fly the rescuer to Renown Regional Medical Center.
