Public barbecue and Taco night at Elks

The Carson City Elks Lodge offers Taco Friday from 5-7 p.m. at 515 N. Nevada St. Tacos will cost $2. Karaoke starts at 7 p.m.

Elksa€™ charitable projects include drug awareness education and Veterans Meals on Wheels.

In addition, the Elks are inviting the public to help them celebrate the first anniversary of the lodgea€™s game room with a barbecue including all the fixings from 4-7 p.m. Saturday at the lodge.

Cost of hot dogs will be $2 and hamburgers for $3.
