Robert Moody Parkinson, 83, passed away in his home September 9, 2009. He was born November 3, 1925, in Miami, Fla. He served in the U.S. Navy in Word War II as a signalman. He retired after 20 years with the Los Angeles Fire Department. He spent more than 30 years as a member of AA and was an inspiration to many. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Geraldine and son Douglas Collins.
He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He will be remembered by all who knew and loved him.
