Clara Jean Romanelli, a former longtime resident of Carson City, died Sept. 14, 2009, in Tucson, Ariz. She was born Sept. 4, 1926, in Ellston, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Romanelli. She is survived by her daughters, Elaine Romanelli of Washington, D.C., Susan Romanelli of Houston, Texas, Patti Romanelli of Minden, Nev., and Paula Delgado (Anthony) of Tucson; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 18 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 3597 N. Sunridge Dr., Carson City. Burial will follow in Lone Mountain Cemetery. Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Carson City, is in charge of arrangements.
