Nevada Appeal Staff Report

Carson High's boys soccer team improved to 2-0 in Sierra League play with a 3-1 win over Wooster Wednesday night at CHS.

The Senators' head coach Nathan Brigham didn't feel his team played up to its normal ability.

"It was not our best," he said. "We were probably at 80 percent. We gave Wooster a lot of time in the midfield. They are much improved over last year.

"We didn't have as many offensive chances as we usually do. They played an offsides trap and we worked on it. We had opportunities that we didn't take advantage of."

Ian Gunn scored Carson's first goal on a breakaway and Miguel Camacho scored next to make it 2-0. Wooster closed out the first half with a goal from 35 yards out.
