Obituary: LaVerne L. O'Neil

LaVerne L. O'Neil, a 9-year resident of Carson City, peacefully passed away Sept. 15, 2009, at her home. She was born Nov. 14, 1930, in Ripon, Calif. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert O'Neil and son, Lonnie O'Neil. She is survived by her daughter, Audrey O'Neil of Sacramento, Calif., and her sisters, Shirley Corso and Delores Reed, both of Carson City. A memorial service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Sept. 25 at Fitzhenry's Funeral Home, 3945 Fairview Drive, Carson City. Afterwards, her ashes will be laid to rest, alongside her husband, at Mount Vernon Cemetery, 8201 Greenback Lane, Citrus Heights, Calif. FitzHenry's Funeral Home is caring for the arrangements.
