Obituary: John Didero

John Didero passed away at home on Saturday, September 19, 2009. He was born February 24, 1920, to Pete P. and Margaret (Rudellat) Didero. He spent his life running the family cattle ranch in Southeastern Colorado, was a flight instructor in the Army Air Forces during World War II, and often spoke fondly of his flying experiences and memories. He attended Trinidad State Junior College where he played football and later attended Colorado State University. He is survived by his wife Louise Didero; two daughters and sons-in-law Monique and Loren Blaney and Paula Didero and Bill Johnson; and granddaughters Nicole, Katelin and Emily. John was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Eva Marie Hodges and his first wife Rose. He will be remembered for his loving smile, sense of humor and devotion to family. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, September 24, 2009, at St. Gall Catholic Church in Gardnerville. A small graveside service will also be held in Trinidad, Colo.
