Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 47-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 5:47 p.m. Wednesday in the 1900 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor second-offense drunken driving and driving without a license. Another motorist called police after she spotted him weaving in traffic and tapping another vehicle's bumper at a stoplight. Bail was set at $2,687.

• Anthony R. Paetz, 24, a transient, was arrested at 10:31 a.m. Thursday on suspicion of felony possession of stolen property, eluding police with property damage, failure to stop at a stop sign, and felony and misdemeanor warrants out of Douglas County. Paetz was allegedly driving a vehicle reported stolen Monday. When police attempted to stop him, he allegedly fled, striking a stop sign and mailbox at Apollo Drive and Tara, and ultimately crashing into a fence in the 4200 block of Apollo before fleeing on foot. Officers found him 10 minutes later hiding behind a bush, according to the arrest report. Bail was set at $30,107.

• Helen Holguin, 34, a cashier from Carson City, was arrested at 5:12 a.m. Wednesday at William and Carson streets on suspicion of felony probation violation, driving without a valid license, failure to stop at a stop sign and failure to wear a seat belt. No bail was set.

• Bradley Thomas Groves, 31, unemployed from Carson City, was arrested at 11:20 p.m. Tuesday at West Bonanza and Manzanita drives on suspicion of felony possession of stolen property, gross misdemeanor possession of burglary tools, possession of prescription medication without a prescription, and two counts of misdemeanor possession of hypodermic needle.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• Caller reported someone threw a rock through her son's car window on Kitchen Drive at 1:24 a.m.

• Accident at Stewart and Musser streets at 8:03 a.m.

• Report of four tires slashed on a vehicle in the 3100 block of Minonee Lane at 11:38 a.m.

• Coroner call at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center at 7:40 p.m.

• Coroner call in the 200 block of Koontz Lane at 9:16 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• Felony arrest on a San Diego warrant on Spruce Street in Silver Springs at 11:06 a.m.

• Felony warrant arrest on Cedar Street in Fernley at 1:27 p.m.

• Residential burglary report on Hillside Drive in Mound House.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• At 8:22 a.m. motorcycles were reported stolen from an auction house yard on Britain Drive.

• Caller at 10:55 a.m. reported finding a possible poached deer on USA Parkway.

• Report of a 15-year-old with a possible broken ankle from playing football at Virginia City High School at 11:38 a.m.

• A tire was slashed on a vehicle on Peri Ranch Road at 1:26 p.m.

• A purse found on North C Street was given to police at 1:43 p.m.

• A caller at 5:30 p.m. reported a "scared little boy," asked for a ride to his grandmother's house after he was frightened by a large black pit bull on North C Street.

• Report at 7 p.m. of "a number of horses" standing in the middle of State Route 341 in a blind curve.
