Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• David Toroni, 38, a machinist from Carson City, was arrested at 7:45 p.m. Thursday in the 3500 block of Harrison Lane on suspicion of gross misdemeanor child endangerment and misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $5,362. Also arrested was his 38-year-old girlfriend on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery and probation violation.

• A 21-year-old transient was arrested at 5:30 p.m. Thursdays at South Carson Meadows Drive and Como Street on suspicion of misdemeanor jaywalking, obstructing an investigation, violation of a suspended sentence, possession of heroin paraphernalia and possession of methamphetamine paraphernalia. Bail was set at $3,701.

• A 42-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 2:53 a.m. in the 2400 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of driving on a revoked license, driving without insurance and operating a vehicle without a license plate light. Bail was set at $1,231.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• Burglary report in the 1900 block of North Peters Street at 7:48 a.m.

• Accident at North Lompa Lane and Northridge Drive at 8:36 a.m.

• Commercial burglary report on Lompa Lane at 2:17 p.m.

• Report from a mother and daughter of their purses stolen from the bowling alley in the 2100 block of Highway 50 East at 8:29 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• Arrest at 12:53 a.m. on Jenny's Lane in Fernley.

• Arrest in the 1500 block of East Newlands Drive in Fernley at 2:42 p.m.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• Report of multiple vehicles sliding off Cartwright Road at 7:29 a.m.

• A woman on Silverado Road reported she hadn't heard from her brother in 17 days.

• A deputy stopped on Canyon Way at 2:50 p.m. to remove five horses from the road.
