Without an injection of funds, The Salvation Army Corps in Carson City may be forced to suspend services to the Carson City/Douglas County areas. The local Corps provides year-round services, including before- and after-school programming for children, emergency food assistance, gas utility and transportation assistance, spiritual counseling and more. The troubled economy has created a greater need for their services, while at the same time decreasing the amount of charitable donations they might otherwise receive.
