Obituary: Eugene Hilbert Hoff III

Loving husband, father, and friend Gene Hoff went home to our Lord on Saturday, Aug. 7, 2010. Gene was first and foremost a family man with a great sense of humor. He was born to Eugene and Christine Hoff on April 29, 1937, in Glendale, Pa. Gene was a member of the 82nd Airborne, a police officer, and the owner of Silver City Auto Body for the past 31 years. He was an avid Steelers fan, with a great passion for golf and camping with his family. He is survived by the love of his life and wife of 52 years, Fran. Also survived by his children, Michael, Neal, Michele, Krissy, and their spouses Norma, Rosanne, David, Jeff, daughter-in-law Teresa, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, and nieces. He was proceeded in death by his father Eugene, mother Christine, brother Jack and son Paul. All those who knew Gene will remember him for his kindness and giving heart. Services will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 14, 2010, at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. Arrangements are in the trusted care of Autumn Funerals & Cremations.
