Charlotte Lennie Soukup peacefully danced out of this world Friday, January 29, 2010.

Charlotte led a very full life. At 15-years of age she christened the USS Thatcher Destroyer Ship in Bath, Maine.

Throughout her life she fulfilled her passion for dance. She danced with the Bing Crosby Caravan for the U.S. troops for many years. She danced in Paris with a ballet company where she met her husband, Dale Soukup. They had four daughters.

Charlotte always taught ballet out of her homes while raising her family.

In 1977, Charlotte's family moved to Carson City. She owned Bekefi's Dance Studio, where she taught and inspired hundreds of kids and adults. She taught into her late 70s. Charlotte gave her life to Jesus Christ in 2000, hence she now resides in Heaven.

Charlotte lived peacefully in her home with three loving care providers and her dog KeeKee.

Charlotte will be missed by her family. We love you Mom. See you on the other side.

Come and celebrate Mom's life with us from 6-7 p.m. Saturday the 6th of February. Call Charlie at 883-5020 or 720-7488 for directions.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley has been entrusted with her arrangements.
