Co-owner of Solar store gets wind-machine training

The Solar Store is pleased to announce the return of its engineer and part owner, Dennis Medeiros to Carson City after attending wind machine training in Phoenix.

Rainbow Conservation is now officially trained in offering wind machines by Southwest Wind in addition to the larger Bergey and Jacobs wind turbines.

Wind energy in northern Nevada is abundant. As a state we are just starting to tap into this valuable resource. These systems are available for grid tie as well as off grid remote and/or hybrid systems.

Solar hot water, radiant heating, RV systems and well pumping are a part of the Solar Store's renewable energy offerings. Unlike rebates for solar Photo voltaic systems, wind energy systems continue to have rebates available ($2.50 watt) throughout the year.

The Solar Store is open Tuesdays through Saturdays or by appointment at 1803 N. Carson Street, Suite A. For more information, call 775 841-9225.
