Creating young artists

The free art class is part of a series hosted by Silver City Task Force, taught by Alison Harris and funded through Nevada Arts Council. The last in the series for children ages 5-13 is 11 a.m. Monday. Those interested should call Quest Lakes at 847-0742, for reservations and directions to the location. The class will be led by Alison Harris, who teaches at Truckee Meadows Community College, Western Nevada Community College and Lake Tahoe Community College. Parents are asked stay with their children to help chaperone.
