Sterling Vaughn Lerud, 75, passed away Feb. 26, 2010 with his family by his bedside. Sterling was born Oct. 23, 1934 in Ada, Minn. to Alice Charlotte Bakken Lerud and Alvin Lerud.
Sterling was preceded in death by his sons Terry Lerud and Daniel Lerud.
Sterling is survived by his wife of nearly 48 years, Virginia Lerud; his daughter Tracy Lerud; his son and daughter-in-law Jeff and Heide Lerud; son Jeremy; his daughter-in-law Eva Wick-Lerud; his grandchildren Alicia Lerud and Steve Lerud; his brother and sister-in-law Sherman and Sue Lerud; his sister and brother-in-law Sharon and Leo Axdahl and numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be 2 p.m., Saturday, at Autumn Funerals & Cremations.
