The community is invited to explore how healing is possible through the practical application of scientific prayer.
John Adams, a Christian Science practitioner and teacher of Christian Science, will present "Does Christian Science really heal sickness and sin?" at 2 p.m.Sunday at the Christian Science church located at 110 Clear Creek Avenue, just east of Highway 395.
Adams will share experiences that show how people have put this prayer-based healing system into daily use. Adams, a member of the Christian Science Board of Lectureship, has been in the full-time healing practice since 1985. His prayerful, healing work is based on Mary Baker Eddy's book, "Science and Health, with Key to the Scriptures."
