Nevada Day Art Show artists sought

The Nevada Artists Association will present its 60th annual "Nevada Day Show" which begins Oct. 3 and will run through Nov. 19th.

The NAA gallery is located in Carson City's Brewery Arts Center, at King and Division Streets. The gallery is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

The juried show is open to to all Nevada artists. New members are welcome and encouraged to join the NAA on show entry day from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Oct. 2.

Entries are limited to three pieces - or four, if one is a miniature. Non-member entry fees are $20 for the first piece and $10 for each subsequent entry. Fees for NAA members are $10 for the first and $5 for each additional entry.

Art work must have been completed within the last two years and not previously exhibited in any NAA judged show. Work must be original. All hanging pieces must be framed and ready to be hung. Framed artwork may not be larger than 40 inches in length or width including the frame. Miniatures image size may not exceed 35 square inches.

A reception will be held at the NAA's Brewery Arts Center Gallery for the participating artists from 6-8 p.m. Oct. 4. Refreshments served from 6-8 p.m. Oct 4.
