This week's senior spotlight presents Shruti Arun. Course load for Shruti includes advanced placement art, AP government, AP English senior literature, AP chemistry, AP calculus and honors French IV, obviously a full load.

With these challenging classes Shruti maintains a grade-point average of 4.59. Shruti is an outstanding student who is extremely involved with school activities.

She is president of the National Honor Society, has participated at state with the Speech and Debate team, and has won a state Science Olympiad competition for chemistry.

Even with all this, she still finds time to be part of the Academic Team, helps others by volunteering at the library as a teen advisory board member, and works as a math tutor. She plans on going to college.

She is undecided of where she would like to go, but she would like to study architecture or chemical engineering.

CHS is proud to have Shruti Arun as one of our students.
