Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Myles Robert Burdett, 20, of Carson City, was arrested at 4 p.m. Saturday in the 1100 block of Woodside Drive on suspicion of felony possession of marijuana, possession of controlled substance for sale and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $15,000. Also arrested was Trevor James Neilson, 21, of Carson City, on suspicion of felony possession of marijuana, possession of controlled substance for sale, gross misdemeanor possession of prescription drug without a prescription and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $15,000.

• Donald Paul Jackson, 27, unemployed from Carson City, was additionally booked into the Carson City Jail on seven counts of suspicion of felony uttering a forged instrument and seven counts of commercial burglary. Jackson was in custody for allegedly attempting to cash a forged check, when another $8,190 in fraudulent checks were found. Bail was set at $25,000.

• Katrina Lee Wheeler-Kaufman, 44, of Carson City, was arrested at 10:48 p.m. Saturday in the 200 block of David Street on suspicion of gross misdemeanor child neglect and endangerment. Bail was set at $5,000.

• Tyler Scott Norman, 22, of Dayton, was arrested at 10:45 p.m. Friday in the 800 block of East Musser Street on a felony warrant for larceny from a person over 60. Norman allegedly snatched $300 from an elderly man as he played slots at a local casino in January. Bail was set at $1,000.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Sunday:

• Coroner call in the 2800 block of Highway 50 East.

• Report of lots of noise and possible drug dealings at 1:43 a.m. in the 2000 block of Woodside Drive.

• Coroner call in the 1600 block of Medical Parkway at 3:16 a.m.

• Accident at Saliman Road and Como Street at 9:32 a.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Sunday:

• Vehicle versus motorcycle on Occidental Drive in Dayton at 9:15 a.m.

• Report of an intoxicated man driving his vehicle into a fence, then driving away on Columbine Court in Fernley at 10:22 a.m.

• A caller reported her friend came over and started beating her boyfriend with a shovel at 6:44 p.m. on Rawhide Street in Silver Springs. A felony arrest was made.
