James Allan Slaton, 70, of Carson City died April 5, 2011, at Veterans Hospital in Reno. He was born June 6, 1940, in Bishop, Texas. He is survived by his wife Colleen Slaton; daughters Roberta and Jo Ellen; son William; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
