The Workforce Program, which assists people in obtaining employment, needs specific items to be donated to the Workforce Closet. The goal is to assist clients to be ready for work by supplying them with work clothes and other items.
Needed donations for men and women include: jeans, nice T-shirts, work shirts, scrubs, work boots, hand tools, tool belts/bags, small tool boxes, suits, medical supplies for CNAs/MAs, masonry tools, tilesetter tools, carpentry tools, and empty storage bins with lids.
The program will pick up bagged items at your home, or you can drop them off from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 22 at Carson City Human Services, 900 E. Long St. Please have items clean and on hangers if at all possible.
