Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 38-year-old fisherman from Carson City was arrested at 9:50 p.m. Wednesday in the 1800 block of North Fall Street on two misdemeanors warrants for suspicion of failure to appear. Bail was set at $2,000.

• A 37-year-old stone worker from South Lake Tahoe was arrested at 8:26 p.m. Wednesday in the 5100 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to appear on a traffic citation. Bail was set at $1,132.

• A 26-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 10:59 a.m. Wednesday at Carson Street and Fairview Drive on suspicion of misdemeanor petty larceny.

• A 44-year-old unemployed transient was arrested at 8:10 a.m. Wednesday in the 1600 block of Brown Street on two misdemeanor warrants for failure to appear on traffic citations. Bail was set at $2,039

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• Report at 7:50 a.m. of windows broken with a rock on school buses parked in the bus barn behind the high school.

• A man reported at 7:57 a.m. that a woman who took his medication and money from him was sitting outside his house on Brown Street. An arrest was made.

• A woman reported at 8:21 a.m. that a maintenance man at a complete in the 1200 block of East Fifth Street was yelling at her and grabbed her wrist. She thought he was drunk.

• A rock was thrown through a window at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in the 1200 block of North Saliman Road sometime before 10:33 a.m.

• Report at 1:33 p.m. of the tip jar at Sierra Joe's being stolen.

• Report of a "problem with drugs and domestic abuse" in the 1800 block of Camille Drive at 2:51 p.m.

• Plumbing and wiring was removed from a home in the 2200 block of Sneddon Way sometime within the last six weeks.

• The manager of Denny's received an anonymous call in which the caller screamed there was a bomb in the restaurant at 8:16 p.m. By 8:35 p.m. the report was considered unfounded.

• A mother on Monte Rosa Drive reported at 9:19 p.m. that her 13-year-old son was possibly high on marijuana. The juvenile was arrested.

• Coroner call in the 200 block of Koontz Lane at 9:21 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• Vehicle burglary report in the 4700 block of Skyline Drive in Silver Springs at 8:19 a.m.

• Felony arrest on Trubode Lane in Fernley at 1:24 p.m.

• Report of a student at Fernley High School in possession of, and under the influence of, drugs and alcohol at 1:40 p.m.

• A property owner reported at 5:49 p.m. that an evicted tenant rubbed feces on the walls and carpet and was refusing to return the keys to a home on River Village Circle in Dayton.

• Misdemeanor arrest in the 1000 block of Mesa Drive in Fernley at 8:13 p.m.

• A vehicle struck a deer on Jacks Wright Pass in Mason Valley at 9:41 p.m.

• Misdemeanor arrest on Toiyabe Street in Silver Springs at 7:18 p.m.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• Report at 1:47 p.m. of too many dogs at a home on Castle Peak Road. The caller reported the dog barking had become a nuisance.
